Belong To LGBTQ+ Youth Ireland is a national services and advocacy organisation working with and for LGBTQ+ children and young people in Ireland.
They needed an identity that reflected their advocacy work while feeling youthful, optimistic and rooted in the idea of belonging. There was one non-negotiable: keep the iconic pink!
The new logo captures the feeling of belonging. Hand-drawn letterforms sitting within a single bubbly shape, expressing individuality and community. The imperfect, illustrated style brings warmth and humanity, reflecting the lived experiences at the heart of the organisation.
Photography was carefully considered to feel authentic and grounded in contemporary Ireland.
We avoided overly polished or generic stock imagery, instead building a library that feels natural, diverse and relatable. We paid close attention to styling, locations and casting to make sure the imagery felt real and current, and worked seamlessly with Belong To’s existing event photography.
The resulting identity is bright, confident and welcoming, a visual system that reflects both the joy and importance of belonging.
